Do you believe that heaven on earth is possible?
It’s something I’ve been thinking about and sitting with after hearing a presentation that went outside the box. I think it may have actually smashed the box! It’s really stirred up some things in me. I’ve had 2 reactions to it. Within me, that higher part of me, I feel an excitement. Woohoo, let’s do it! Then my brain kicks in. I think about some of the things I see and experience in the world, evidence in direct contrast of it, and end up at “ummmm, really?”.
The speaker was actually talking about making heaven on earth for yourself. This ties in directly with you being the creator of your own reality. Of owning your divine power and creating the life that you want. I guess I just never thought about that life as being a heaven on earth. But why not?
As my brain comes up with reasons why heaven on earth is not possible, it offers insights into beliefs I have that are limiting me. One of them is what I learned in church when I was younger. That heaven is a place we go to after this life. There’s also some programming about selfishness. Isn’t it selfish to want heaven on earth for myself? To want so much? And what about others? There’s also a piece about my self-worth in there. Am I worthy of heaven on earth? Why should I have it when others don’t?
As my internal pot of beliefs is being stirred, I can see where I’m not aligning with my higher self, the divine within me. Where I can be owning my power more. Because I want to let go of the shtuff that’s getting in the way of living more fully.
I trust the excitement I feel within about heaven on earth. That excitement tells me I’m heading in the right direction. I also trust that as I start with me, making heaven on earth for myself, it will naturally expand beyond me and inspire or spark others who are also open and ready to make heaven on earth for themselves.
So I return to the question… do you believe that heaven on earth is possible? If so, are you willing to dive into and let go of any limiting beliefs in order to make heaven on earth for yourself?
