With the US election coming up and all the emotions about it, I’m feeling drawn to run this class again, which is near and dear to my heart because I’m also an empath. I grew up feeling so many emotions and didn’t always understand why I felt the way I did or why I felt it so deeply. When I found out I am an empath, things finally started making sense!
I’ve spent the last 10+ years learning from some great teachers and exploring on my own. It’s been a journey of discovering what being an empath looks and feels like for me. Learning things like how to own my energetic boundaries and keep my space clear has made a tremendous difference for me! I don’t have to spend time anymore trying to figure out why I suddenly feel angry or sad for no reason, which leaves me more time to focus on the things that are important to me. I don’t feel drained emotionally, mentally or physically like I used to. I feel more like myself and I’m loving it!
So, what is an empath? Empaths are very attuned to energy. And since everything is energy, that can feel overwhelming if you don’t know that. Empaths are known as psychic sponges because they tend to pull in the energy around them and feel it as if it’s their own. They are mostly known for feeling the emotions of others, but it manifests in other ways too.
Some signs you are an empath are:
- knowing how someone is feeling before they tell you (without any visual or obvious signs)
- feeling a certain emotion and not knowing why you’re feeling that way (there’s no obvious reason)
- feeling drained emotionally, physically, mentally and/or energetically at the end of the day, around certain people or in certain environments
- losing yourself in relationships
- having a hard time being around a lot of people
- don’t like being in environments that are noisy or chaotic
- prefer to spend time alone or need you-time on a regular basis
I created this class after working with many empaths and seeing them going through experiences similar to mine, unsure of what was happening to them. I’ve met many empaths who developed addictions as a way to cope with or numb all they are feeling on a daily basis. I want to see empaths thriving in the world, understanding and enjoying this beautiful part of themselves rather than struggling with it!

- A 30-minute one-on-one phone or Zoom session with me. This time is uniquely yours and what you want to focus on! You can ask questions; clarify any of the material; go over any of the exercises or techniques together; share any thoughts, concerns or experiences; dive deeper into the material or even play in the energy!
